At NorthPoint Aviation we are a Cessna Pilot Center and offer a variety of flight training and pilot certifications by exceptional, highly qualified instructors.
NorthPoint is the only Cessna Pilot Center certified by Textron in a tri-state area. This means that we provide structured flight training from private to commercial levels. Additionally, we can train you in your new or used airplane.
Our certifications range from private pilot to Certified Flight Instructor licensing.
You can use your own aircraft or choose from our two Cessna 172 Skyhawks to take your flight training lessons with. Our instructors will work with you to create a personalized training program to help you reach your flying goals.

Ever wondered what it’s like to fly an airplane? A Discovery Flight is the perfect way to experience flying firsthand and see if flight training is right for you.
Your Discovery Flight is approximately 1 hour and takes place in one of our three Cessna 172 aircraft. You’ll fly with one of our experienced flight instructors and get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to operate an airplane from the pilot’s seat. Your instructor will walk you through the basics, from the preflight inspection and controls to takeoff and flying the aircraft.
Discovery Flight Pricing
Aircraft rental: $175/hour
Flight instructor: $70/hour
Approximately $245 + tax for 1 hour
